Very unprofessional
My fiancé worked for this company for about 7-8 years and when he put in his 2 weeks notice (in 2013) they were very unprofessional about it (he got a job closer to home because we just had a baby 4 months prior to that in June). They took his last two weeks of pay because they said he "owed it to them", but they wouldn't give him an itemized statement as to WHAT he was having to pay back.....if they were any kind of a "good" company they would have understood and been more compassionate as to why he was needing to move on from this job. Here recently Mark Hutton got ahold of my fiancé about his review on their Facebook page and told him that he was going to get his lawyers involved to see what can be done about the review that was made almost 3years ago. The company left us with no money to support our household for the next two weeks (with a newborn and a 5year old) that he was transitioning into his new job that's, 4 weeks that we had no food or money to pay our bills with, thankfully Shelton Construction gave him a cash advance to pay our bills and buy food with. It was a very horrible time. BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT WORKING FOR THIS COMPANY!! He's not the only person they have done this to.
